Admittedly, my gown wasn’t what I had envisaged when I first began looking. However, having seen the dress on Sophia Grace’s Instagram I was immediately drawn to it.

As soon as I walked in I was struck by how large and elegant the boutique itself was and how stylish and ‘on trend’ the wedding dresses they stocked were (I found it hard to narrow down the ones I wanted to try on).

I contacted The Restoration Yard about doing a photoshoot, just at the time they were thinking about having shots taken to promote the location as a wedding venue…

My dress was by the designer Eliza Jane Howell. It was a fully beaded long sleeved gown in a vintage style…
